Clare Hearne
Clare passionately believes in conservation and recycling, trying to keep this world fine and beautiful for her children and their generation in the future. This in mind Clare often works to provide a record and a celebration of the natural beauty of this child's world: Farmyard animals, houses and figurative childrens designs in recycled materials are a fundamental part of Clare's current work.
With a strong passion for the process of magnification of a subject to its extreme, Clare also specialises in designing and producing large mechanical, anatomical and organic themed contemporary abstract originals, including a set of advertising illustrations for the Royal College of Surgeons.
A selection of Clare's work has been used to produce a range of Limited Edition Giclee Prints and Greeting Cards.
Clare's most recent exhibition material entitled ‘Us Girls’, a dryly humorous look at life from a female angle, incorporates all these elements, including a combination of contemporary figurative and abstract pieces in a wide range of sizes, styles and media including oils, waterbased paint and recycled mixed media textiles
