Christopher Hughes

Chris left Swansea University in the 1970's and trained as a ceramic artist at the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company. After becoming one of their leading painters he turned freelance in 1980. Since then his watercolours, oils and ceramics have sold to galleries and collectors in the UK, Japan, USA, Australia, the Middle East and Europe.
Together with his wife Jane, he is now lucky enough to spend the summer months painting and holding watercolour painting courses from our house on the Greek Island of Alonissos. Whilst there he enjoys working with oils and watercolours as he attempts to capture the wonderful colours and light of the Aegean.
He return each Autumn to his UK home to catch up with family and friends and of course continue painting.
